Pirate Media 1: We get you. We’re Pirates, too

This session is designed for those who wish to plug into the life of an ECU Pirate. Learn about opportunities available within Pirate Media 1 and what it takes to become a member of any of our student-run, student-oriented operations. Pirate Media 1 includes The East Carolinian, ECU’s student newspaper, theeastcarolinoian.com, its affiliated website, and TECO ECHO, its weekly email newsletter; WZMB 91.3 FM, ECU’s college radio station; four magazines — the Rebel arts and literary digest, Expressions magazine for minority voices, The Hook, ECU’s student-interest magazine, and Anchors Away, our graduation magazine; Creative Quarters, which provides design and visual arts services, and the Advertising and Marketing Agency, which provides, sales and marketing support to all Pirate Media 1 organizations. Discussion will focus on how to begin a media career at ECU.
