Department of Disability Support Services

The Department for Disability Support Services (DSS) ensures equal access for students with disabilities through accommodations and advocacy on campus. DSS determines reasonable accommodations for academics, housing, and other areas of campus as needed for students with disabilities. Parents with students who utilized an IEP or 504 plan in high school are strongly encouraged to attend this session. Join the presenter in a conversation about the transition from IDEA to ADA. Information on how to register with DSS, how to access disability services, and how to manage a disability in college will be discussed.
