“Making Cents: of Life After College”, will occur on April 17th from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm in the Main Campus Student Center room 125. This interactive program will provide a realistic glimpse of your post-graduation finances, including the median starting salary for your desired job title, geographic location, and your student loan borrowing amounts.

You will receive a “salary” based on your career path.

You will then proceed through a series of stations simulating the budgeting of your salary to meet monthly expenses based on the cost of living in your proposed geographical location. Stations will include the following:

o Taxes

o Housing

o Health and Well-being

o Transportation

o Financing graduate school

o Student loan repayment

o Food

o Entertainment

o Insurance

o Revolving debt

o Savings

o Emergency needs

• Your goal is to meet all of your needs within the confines of your salary.

• We will help you review your choices and empower you to make smart financial decisions.

The residence hall with the highest percent of attendees that attend the event will receive an ice cream social.


Every club sport team with at least 2 members pre-register and attend will receive “allocation points”



Walk-ins are welcome to attend!


Please arrive prior to 6pm to allow time to complete the event.
