Pirates, do you have unpaid citations?

The Student Government Association (SGA), Williams-Ross Purple Pantry (CLCE),  and Parking and Transportation would like to share information about a new initiative - Food For Fines to support the Williams-Ross Purple Pantry, while providing a cheaper opportunity to pay parking citations.

******Please note that donations can only be accepted during the donation period of March 16-20, 2026.

How it Works

  • You can pay for your parking citation in full by bringing non-perishable food or hygiene items to one of our donation locations on campus.
  • Each food item is worth $5 towards your citation and the citation must be paid in full; partial payments will not be accepted.
    • For Example, a citation worth $35 may be paid using 7 items.
    • (Not all tickets qualify for this program, please see section Tickets that do not qualify below)
  • What not to donate
    • Expired Food
    • Damaged, dented, rusty, leaky, unlabeled or opened packages/cans
    • Glass Jars
