Food For Fines
Details
Pirates, do you have unpaid citations?
The Student Government Association (SGA), Williams-Ross Purple Pantry (CLCE), and Parking and Transportation would like to share information about a new initiative - Food For Fines to support the Williams-Ross Purple Pantry, while providing a cheaper opportunity to pay parking citations.
***Please note that donations can only be accepted during the donation period of November 11 - 22, 2024.
How it Works
- You can pay for your parking citation in full by bringing non-perishable food or hygiene items to one of our donation locations on campus.
- Each food item is worth $5 towards your citation and the citation must be paid in full; partial payments will not be accepted.
- For Example, a citation worth $35 may be paid using 7 items.
- What not to donate
- Expired Food
- Damaged, dented, rusty, leaky, unlabeled or opened packages/cans
- Glass Jars
- Not all tickets qualify for this program
- Tampering with University Equipment
- Shared Permit or Tow Violation

- Parked in Fire Lane or ADA Space Violation
- Transfer Citations
