SGA Compulsory meeting

Do you have ideas about how to make ECU better? Are you interested in serving the student body and making sure their voices are heard? Consider running for office! We will be offering multiple interest sessions to help you learn about the positions, ask questions, and better navigate the campaign process. 

The SGA Elections Commission will host several compulsory meetings for potential 2024-2025  candidates on - 

Filing for office is open from January 29th - February 7th and all candidates MUST attend a mandatory compulsory meeting 

All candidates MUST attend a mandatory compulsory meeting 

• February 2 (Virtual)
• February 3 (In Person)
• February 4 (Virtual)
• February 5 (In Person)

*All candidates (or a campaign representative) must attend one of the mandatory compulsory meetings. Absolutely no campaigning or active declaration of candidacy can occur before that time campaigning begins on Feb 12th.

There are openings for Student Body President and Vice President (which run together as one ticket) and representatives from each classification (freshman-graduate school) and each academic college.  Contact the Chair of the SGA Elections Commissions at sgaelections@ecu.edu
