Citizen U: Knowing Your Rights

The Citizen U Active Citizen Series is designed to engage, educate, and inspire students to be active members of their communities through dynamic session topics and engaging guest speakers. Each session will begin or end with a dynamic activity that participants and guest speakers will participate in that explores the session topic further.

This session will focus on educating participants on what their rights are as it relates to traffic stops, police interactions, warrants/searches, residential rights, etc. We will be joined by an ECU police officer and a local defense attorney. Participants can join in person or via Teams. FREE snacks will be provided.
