Pirates Navigating Distress is a webinar series created by the ECU Center for Counseling and Student Development. This guided virtual learning tour is designed to introduce skills for coping with distress and times of change (rough seas), shifting from surviving to thriving (finding your sea legs), and cultivating a rich and meaningful life (steering the ship).
Please read through the information below. If you have questions, you may contact the CCSD at 252-328-6661.

Participation will be encouraged, but not required. You will be muted upon entry. You may turn your video on or leave it off, that is up to you.
Participation in this workshop offered by the ECU Center for Counseling and Student Development is voluntary and is open to any ECU student who has preregistered for the workshop.

By attending this workshop, you signify that you agree to the follow:
• I understand that this is a workshop offered through the Center for Counseling and Student Development (CCSD) and should not be considered a therapy group.
• I understand that attending this workshop does not establish me as a client with CCSD nor constitute a therapeutic relationship between myself and workshop leaders, given a therapeutic relationship is typically an on-going relationship between a healthcare provider and a client working toward collaborative, agreed upon goals.
• I acknowledge I have been made aware of crisis services available through CCSD by calling 252-328-6661.
