AMEXCAN at ECU is a club established in 2017 to promote Latino inclusivity on and off campus through social and volunteer opportunities. AMEXCAN at ECU hosts general body meetings every other Wednesday at 6 pm.

These meetings have proved essential because numerous Latino students got to know one another and gather a sense of belonging on campus. Interestingly enough, many Latino students joined AMEXCAN at ECU to learn more about their culture, such as the food, music, dancing style, language, and traditions, because they did not have access to those experiences growing up. So, they sought those experiences from club members who have.

ARRRGH...You Gonna Get Involved?! This is your first stop for getting involved on campus.

The Department of Student Engagement houses Fraternity and Sorority Life office, the Student Organization Center, major campus programming, and the Student Activities Board, providing advising, support, leadership development, and resources to over 35 fraternities and sororities and more than 350+ registered student organizations.

Fraternities and sororities provide an enriching student experience focused on the pillars of leadership, scholarship, community service, sisterhood, and brotherhood. Membership in a fraternity or sorority is life-long and provides connections long after graduation.

Student organizations provide almost limitless opportunities for students to build connections on campus. We encourage students to become involved in student organizations to enhance their learning and add co-curricular experiences to their classroom work.

The Student Activities Board plans over 100 programs each year to educate and entertain the students of ECU.

Our staff encourages all students to explore the many different student groups at ECU and take advantage of the opportunities these organizations provide.

The mission of DIG as a student-run, non-profit organization is to:
- Provide a forum for communication between students and professionals in Dermatology
- Create a network of collaboration between DIGs nationwide.
- To enhance teamwork and increase participation in early detection of critical dermatological conditions.
- To provide a support group for students considering a career in dermatology.
- Provide community education through outreach and service events that address dermatological conditions and challenges such as: sun safety, skin cancer, and healthy skin maintenance

The Dr. Jesse R. Peel LGBTQ Center provides support and a sense of community for students, faculty, staff, and alumni of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. We foster student leadership, as well as personal, academic, and professional growth, through volunteer opportunities and collaborative partnerships across campus. The LGBTQ Center offers a safe and welcoming environment that promotes understanding, acceptance, and visibility of the LGBTQ community through a comprehensive range of educational programming and advocacy services.

Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people. Waterfowl conservation is facing important challenges as wetlands and other habitats are being degraded and destroyed across the continent. This chapter is a collegiate chapter comprised of student lead events to help raise money towards the goal of waterfowl conservation.

The magnolia belles is ECU's all female Acapella group founded in 2006. We pride ourselves as being a supportive group for the women of ECU. We currently have 14 members but hold auditions every semester! We perform on Campus, around North Carolina, at universities, and out of state. The Maggie Belles are a family and a great place to make meaningful friendships here at ECU. We accept Freshmen through seniors, even if you're only here for a semester we would love to meet you. DESO was organized to provide a community and connection to the ECU main campus for DE (distance education) students by giving the DE population a collective voice and opportunity to meet other DE students. Since 2014, more than 2,500 individuals have proudly earned a Bachelor of Science in University Studies (BS-US) from East Carolina University. Offered through the Harriot College of Arts and Sciences, the University Studies major offers a flexible and personalized academic path for learners seeking an option outside of traditional majors at ECU. The BS-US can be completed entirely on-line, or on-campus, and allows students to build on their previous coursework and transfer credits, providing a unique opportunity to tailor their education to fit their personal and professional aspirations. With the support of expert advisors, University Studies students craft an individualized degree that aligns with their academic, career, and/or personal goals.

The Bachelor of Science in University Studies is perfect for students with a higher number of completed credit hours (a minimum of 75 earned hours is required to declare), transfer students, military affiliated students, and “Finish” students (former Pirates who left ECU without a degree) who need a degree that is flexible, personalized, and rewarding.

While earning a bachelor’s degree is a big commitment, the rewards are plentiful and within your reach. A brighter economic future, more career possibilities, and a greater sense of personal fulfillment are all possible with the completion of our BS-US!

The mission of the ECU Purple Pantry is to decrease food insecurity among the students of East Carolina University and increase access to other personal care items. Since opening in the late spring of 2018, students have been able to collect their most needed food and hygiene items. Members of the ECU community dedicate their time, talent and treasures to create a sustainable resource on campus to combat food insecurity.

The Rock Painting Club is an artistic club that aims to create community through creativity and positivity. We created the club in the fall of 2020 to provide a way for students on campus to come together. While our foundation is rock painting, we know that this club can be so much more. Our events include topics that handle campus engagement, community engagement, and campus beautification. We work well teaming up with other organizations due to the style of our club. As a club we decided that we would not collect dues because we believe anyone should be able to participate and have a chance. We hope that you will join us and roll up your sleeves as we get to work making Greenville better everyday!
